Be the difference, Create History and Inspire the future
Kate Richardson-Walsh is an incredibly successful ex-captain of the British hockey team. With her team, she has reached the podium of the Olympic games twice. A bronze medal in London 2012 and Olympic gold in Rio 2016.
During her career as a professional athlete and leader of the team she has noticed a lot of things. Her experience has taught her that a great culture is at the centre of a great team. Consistently high-performing teams, of any kind, all have a great culture. Kate will talk about how you can create this trough habits and behaviours. How a team can feel empowered to reach a common goal even if they sometimes compete against each other.
She will define what it means to be a leader and how every individual is a leader themselves. Trust, respect, confidence, self-awareness and vulnerability are her ingredients.
