Sofie is an internationally experienced HR-manager with extensive hands-on experience across the HR-generalist spectrum. She is working as an HR Business partner at Accenture and the last 2 years she has mainly been focusing on the regional launch and implementation of Performance Achievement: A new way of talent management based on a strengths-based approach.
She embarked on the journey of inspiring people, as a faculty, certified Gallup Strengths coach and HRBP, to look more at the potential and what are people good at instead of trying to “fix what is wrong”, because everything you focus on grows.
How do we help the people of Accenture achieve their best performance?
In 2014, we asked a question that would change the course of our performance management discussion. We asked, “How do we help the people of Accenture achieve their best performance?” The answer to that question wasn’t in the existing model or the traditional approach to performance management. We had to shift the conversation away from systems and processes (forced distribution) and toward the individual employee and it’s talents. We were determined to “re-imagine” performance management in a way that would enable nearly 400,000 employees to have a personalized experience.
At this Talent Congress I will talk on how we are still on the journey of changing a cultural mindset based on a couple of universal truths and scientific based research. The agile approach we took and what we see so far in terms of the holistic employee experience we strived for, as well as other findings.
At the end we can definitely exchange openly, so feel free to ask questions. I know I will!
